Cymerman Chronicles: Bobcats Roll to 4th straight over Sixers
Poor defense and foul trouble would be the cause of another Sixers loss as they fall to Charlotte 102-87. You can't blame the fans for leaving in the 3rd quarter after the team fell behind by 29. Gerald Wallace is my player of the game as he shot 9 of 10 from the field with 28 points. Larry Brown's squad shot 50% from the field and went to the line 41 times where as Philly went to the line 21 times. Stephen Jackson had 24 points and 10 rebounds. Both Jackson and Wallace were 10-11 from the free throw line. As for the Sixers, you are not going to win many games when Rodney Carney is your leading scorer with 15 points. Six Bobcats scored in double figures to go on to win their fourth straight win. My take on the game is that...EDDIE JORDAN IS THE WORST COACH EVER. I will probably say that every game. He was asked about his coaching status before the game and with tonight's result it doesn't look good. The Sixers had 27 personal fouls. It boggles my mind how Carney could take 16 shots and guys like Lou Williams and Elton Brand could take a combined 15 shots. Jordan needs to do a better job of getting the ball in the hands of Holiday, Jordan needs to do a better job of getting the ball in the hands of Holiday, Williams, Young, and Iguodala if they want to have any chance of making a little run. The Sixers only have one day to get things corrected before LeBron James comes into town. Jordan is on the hot seat and could use a big win against the Cavs on Friday.
