Football season has finally come to end and the Saints went marching on to a Super Bowl victory. Now that there is no more football what is there for a man to do? Well you have a couple of options. For me it's very easy. When football season is over I know we are that much closer to Spring Training. I couldn't be more excited about seeing Roy Halladay in a Phillies jersey. They fell short last year, but we have alot to look forward to to repeat as NL Champs.
If you're not a football fan then there are other things you can hooked on. I mean after all the Sixers are on a 4 game winning streak and the Flyers just beat the Devils. The NBA is already halfway through so catching up now would be useless. The Sixers probably won't make the playoffs and the Lakers will probably win because the NBA needs the Lakers to win to keep fans. If I were you I would not get hooked on the NBA now because there is no point. If you want to catch a game or two it's a nice change every once and a while. As for the NHL, me personally will always watch a Flyers game no matter how bad they are because hockey is probably the best sport to watch on TV. There is nothing better than watching guys try and kill each other and then beat the crap out of each other. Hockey is a sport that you can always get hooked on, but its not the main reason I'm excited for football season to be over.
Maybe basketball and hockey aren't your sports. Well you have a couple more options. The MLS team, Philadelphia Union, will be starting very soon and that is bound to be a good time. Maybe you like the shape of a stop sign, well then UFC would be right up your alley. How about the Olympics that are coming up this Friday? nothing like watching curling along with bobsledding. It's not like you can watch Tiger golf anymore at least not for now. Unless they have a golf course at the Sex rehab center. Is your favorite shape an oval? well then you will love a big race this weekend as Danica Patrick makes her NASCAR debut. Then there is college basketball. We are very close on embarking on March Madness, which could be the best part of the year in sports. There are many options out there for you to find something to get hooked on, until the NFL hits training camp in August. So in the meantime find something worth your time and make sure you enjoy it. 7 DAYS TILL PITCHERS AND CATCHERS REPORT. I want to hear what you are going to do now that football season is over. What are you going to do?
Hockey during the Olympics will probably be my sport of choice for the time being... When it comes to most Olympic sports, we're so gung ho for USA gold but with hockey, at least for me, it's challenging to pick a team to root for because most of my favorite players aren't just from the US. Therefore, unlike regular NHL games, every game has some level of interest...
